Oxeye daisy blooms

While the Oxeye daisy is considered a noxious weed in some regions, it’s a native but non-nuisance species in our area. Its spring leaves are edible and make a nice addition to our salads, and its cheery flowers last through the summer, forming large clumps all around the edges of our yard.
